My family ordered takeout through door dash yesterday and it was the best Thai food we've had since moving to the area! We got the pad Thai, massaman curry, and the pineapple fried rice. The only disappointment was that we didn't leave leftovers because we all wanted seconds and even then, the portions we got were huge. Also, they were super accommodating of my shellfish allergy and I didn't have a reaction like I did at some of the other Thai places we've tried in the neighborhood. Seriously cannot stop thinking about the curry, it was so good.

Today is Thursday, right? Well, if you want Thai, you better not wait until Friday night or this weekend to come to Kinaly Thai in San Marcos because their food is absolutely % legit. The Panang Curry was 1st-rate because of the tender pork and the very fresh basil added to the savory curry, but oh the spice... Oh myyy soo good!! We also ordered a most excellent Thai Fried Rice, Eggplant Tofu and the perfectly grilled Crying Tiger steak. Service tonight by a very kind, super efficient one-man-band was and the restaurant was clean, clean, clean. Go now because as word gets out, you won't be able to get in. I just know it because I'm going to start bringing all my family and friends here.

Walked in, open floor plan. The waiter told us from the front counter to pick any seating. Once we sat down took a little bit for the waiter to come back to us to give us a menu. We noticed the waiter giving another table a menu and my bf happened to say under his breath "what about us" lol so I believe the waiter noticed and dropped off 1 menu. Lol So I told him do you want to look at it together? Because it was in like a flip book format but we just took turns to see what we wanted. I got the Kinaly combo, included tofu, shrimp, fresh spring roll, egg roll and satay chicken. Sauces were peanut, sweet chili, and hoisin/peanut sauce. WHEN THIS WAS SERVED TO US. It was actually given to another table first and we were given their appetizer. They ordered fresh spring rolls. I immediately told the waiter we did not order that. Then they replied oh you didn't? I said no we got the Kinaly combo then they glanced over to the other table, took the spring rolls and then brought the Kinaly combo over to our table. LOL! I'm like ugh....did they touch it? The waiter reassured me they didn't but I was too hungry for them to remake it. The waiter offered to remake it because by my expression I was in shock lol. But! Me and my bf looked at each other and just said we will keep it. Anyhoo, it was BOMB. So good we ate that plate clean. For my entree I chose peanut sauce with chicken. I just love peanut sauce so that was good too however my carrots were still pretty hard so it could've gotten cooked a little more but I'm sure as left overs it will be perfect. My bf got the yellow curry with chicken. This too was so good. Hit the spot during this cold season. At the end of our meal we asked for a to go box and our check, I also order food to go prior. So before we checked out I wanted to use the restroom. I took a picture of where the restroom is at and u can see the doors are open which is kind of weird and the seating is visible. There are 2 stalls in the female restroom and when I was on the way in I was stopped by my waiter 3 times lol saying that they were unsure if I can use it or not. So I said ok, then they said no wait go ahead so as I'm going back in they said wait let me ask first so I come back out then the waiter said you know what just use it, awkward asf. Also the main door is still open and you can hear me flushing from outside lol Anyhoo, we got our Togo and food all packed up but no check and said our thanks you's. By this time I'm sure I could've just walked out but I asked for our check again. So we finally paid and left. If the food wasn't great I'm sure they would've received a lower rating. Also making it clear, not bashing the waiter it just seemed they needed more training.

Amazing food quality and great customer service! So happy that this place is open for dine-in now; very open space. Lots of parking space available, shared in the same block as Dollar Tree & Yum Yum Donuts. I always get the pad thai & curry. Never disappoints! :)
